    South Park Institute of Hotel Management, under the Mohandas Group of Institutions, successfully conducted a Workshop on Food Allergen Management on 16 & 17 February 2026 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

    The workshop was led by Mrs. Sareena Thaha, Lead Food Safety Trainer & Consultant, who shared valuable insights on the importance of allergen awareness and food safety practices in the hospitality industry.

    During the session, students gained practical knowledge about understanding food allergens and risk assessment, along with effective allergen control and prevention strategies. The workshop also covered industry best practices and real-life case studies, helping students understand how professional kitchens manage food allergen risks.

    This interactive session helped participants strengthen their knowledge of food safety standards and responsible food handling, which are essential skills for future hospitality professionals.
